Storyline

Storyline

Up-and-coming creator, Ujicha, is the multi-tasking director, cinematographer and animator of this unique outré animated work, produced through the “dramanimation” method.
Seen through Beniko, a high school student whose parents are savagely murdered while a Buddhist statue is stolen from her parental home, the story closes in on the truth about a series of Buddhist statue thefts occurring in Kyoto. The cast includes popular young voice actor, Yuka Iguchi and veteran actor, Minori Terada, with comedienne Inagakisaki Sakura singing the theme song.

Storyline

Miko Wada (Naomi Watanabe) is the 10th generation master of "Wadaya," an established Japanese confectionary shop that prides itself on 300 years of tradition. According to the Wada family precepts, it is decided that if she does not marry by the age of 30, she will have to hand the family business over to her uncle (Ben Wong Chi-yin).
Miko, who to this point has never been able to make a man her husband, asks Daiten (Aaron Yan) to fake a marriage for one week only so that she can retain ownership of Wadaya. In return, she agrees to hand Daiten the closely-guarded secret formula to the Japanese confection "Wada Ichigo."
The curtain drops on the intense battle between Miko and her uncle, who learns of this backroom deal!
