Jury Michail Gkinis
Michail Gkinis was born in Greece and graduated from London Collage of Fashion. Michail served his internship at ISSEY MIYAKE TOKYO as a first European intern and studied menswear design. In 2006, he moved to Tokyo as he was attracted by the Japanese textiles. He launched his original brand during the 2008 Tokyo Collection. He introduced his work in New York in 2010, then Paris, Tokyo, India, and Greece in 2011. Michail won the Tokyo New Designer Fashion Grand Prix Professional Category best prize. In 2013, he also opened a showroom, thecAR- Tel, in Dubai, UAE and MICHAIL ATELIER + LIFESTYLE GALLERY BOTIQUE near Todoroki Valley that focus on sales and promotion.
Jury Itsuji Itao
Born in Osaka in 1963. Later formed 130R, and was active in mainly variety shows. Since 2000, began appearing as an actor in movies. For his January 2010 film“The King of Jail Breakers”, for which he played the three roles of directing, starring and writing the screen- play, he won the double of the Newcomer Award at the 29th Fujimoto Awards and New Director at the 19th Japan Movie Critics Award. In January 2012, the second picture which he wrote, directed and starred in,“Mask of Moonlight”was released. He is also active as a musi- cian, forming the group“Itao Kousetsu”with Minami Kousetsu, and releasing a CD. He is also the author of the“ItaoDiary”series(publishedbyLittleMore).
Jury Anju
Born in Tokyo. Having been scouted by Givenchy, she appeared on Vogue Magazine in various countries as well as in the Paris Collection while being based in Paris as an international top model. After returning to Japan, she became a photographer. She has since been creating a unique photographic world, which has a story interwoven with writings. Also winning a favor of a number of celebrities and intellectuals, she has created col- laboration work with many of them. She is being active in a wide variety of fields, including advertisement, magazine series, writ- ing, and lecturing. This year, the third year from the Great East Japan Earthquake, she is planning to open the photo exhibition“ Seasons from Age 14 (provisionally named)”, which is comprised of interviews and photographs of teen-agers in the Tohoku Region and Tokyo, at 28 locations nationwide (from July 17). She is also planning to open the photo exhibition“Un rêve ne disparaît pas. kokoro 11.3.11 project”in Paris, France (from August 30).
Kiki Sugino
Kiki Sugino, the winner of the "Creator's Factory Best New Creator Award" at the last year's event, is currently making a movie based on the R-18 Literary Award-winning novel "Kyoto Elegy“. To be released in 2014.
