Ceremony
The following programs are scheduled to take place as official ceremonies at the 6th Okinawa International Movie Festival, in accordance with those held at the past festivals.
Red carpet
The "red carpet" ceremony, the belle of every movie festival, will be held at two venues: the Okinawa Convention Center (and the Ginowan Tropical Beach) and Kokusai Dori Street (Naha City).
The grand ceremony will be held by inviting a multitude of people associated with entries, performers at the event, and all the parties concerned from Japan and foreign countries, as well as from Okinawa prefecture.

Opening ceremony
Following the red carpet ceremony, the opening ceremony of the Movie Festival proper will be held on the special stage set up on the Ginowan Tropical Beach.
Entries to the Movie Festival and highlights of various programs will be presented.

Closing ceremony
The closing ceremony of the Movie Festival will be held on the final day in the theater at the Okinawa Convention Center.
The award ceremony for entries in the competitions will also be held, and reviews by a panel of special judges will be presented at the ceremony.
