SoftBank presents Owarai Life Short Film Screening
“Owarai Life” (Life in Comedy) is a comedy content transmission service presented by SoftBank Mobile.
Video content can be viewed in four different categories, “Do it! The World’s Most Handy Laughter App”, “Short Film Channel”, “Comedy Channel” and “Entertainer Recommended Gifts”.
One of these, the “Short Film Channel” transmits short films produced by entertainers that take over as director, including directors such as Yuichi Kimura, who is also active as a film director.
These films, crafted in the sensibilities of directors that are entertainers in a way that may not fit into conventional methods, to create impressionistic, animated or other styles of comedic works, have been well received both for people’s interest in the works themselves and the chance to see another side to these entertainers.
At the Movie Festival, the entertainers that actually directed the works on the “Short Film Channel” will be invited together with Director Yuichi Kimura to a screening and talk show.
