Kazu(Hiromitsu Takeda) has a fight with his girlfriend, Kaori, who is going on a trip to Seoul, and sends her off without reconciling. Worried, he tries to get in touch with her, but to no avail. When Kaori doesn’t return on the scheduled date, Kazu sets off to Seoul in search of her with what information he can gather.
Hwayoung is a Korean with a dream of marrying a kind and gentle Japanese woman. Friends through the internet, he finds out Kaori is coming to Seoul and tries to contact her, but he receives no reply. Hwayoung is also worried about Kaori, and starts to look for her.
Korea’s capital city Seoul is an international metropolis where about a quarter of the entire Korean nation resides. Over a long period of time, it has developed as the center of politics, economy and culture to build the present day Republic of Korea. The city spans about 605 km2 with a total population of approximately 10 million.
The great Han River runs through its center, with busy shopping quarters such as Myeong-dong, Dongdaemun on the northern side, as well as many historical sites. Also, there’s a newly developed area on the south side of the river called Gangnam. Seoul capitol city, located west of the Korea Peninsula and surrounded by Gyeonggi Province. Comparing by north latitude, it’s around the same area as Japan’s Koriyama city in Fukushima Prefecture, and a 2 hour flight distance from Tokyo.
