We gladly would like to reveal the main poster design of the 6th Okinawa International Movie Festival!
In the 6th OIMF, we are planning various events based on the new theme of “All Things Great in All the Islands!” to focus on creating and developing the film festival together with the residents of Okinawa.
One of the events is the creation workshop for elementary school kids in Okinawa on 30th November in 2013, together with “pokke104,” an illustrator born in Okinawa. 58 kids participated in the workshop in Ginowan city and created the main poster.
Those children drew various illustrations such as animals, plants, people in Okinawa and shisa, and then pokke104 designed a collage combined with her illustrations inspired by the image of OIMF.
The poster and the design will be used in a variety of decorations around the venues and across the prefecture of Okinawa.
